Production

Lead Producer

Full-time · Remote/Estonia

Own delivery end to end — build the machine that lets design, art, and engineering ship on scope and on quality, without the studio grinding itself to dust.

The Role

  • Own delivery end to end. From concept to launch to live-ops, you make sure our games actually ship — on scope, on quality, and without the studio grinding itself to dust. If it slips, you saw it coming and had a plan.
  • Build the machine, not just the schedule. Set up the pipelines, rituals, and tools that let design, art, and engineering move fast without tripping over each other. Good production is invisible when it works and obvious when it doesn’t.
  • Obsess over flow. Work broken into small, achievable steps, clear acceptance criteria on everything, blockers surfaced early. Vagueness slows us down and spends our precious money — your job is to kill it.
  • Range widely. One week you’re re-planning a project’s roadmap, the next you’re mediating a scope fight, tightening a live-ops cadence, or coaching a producer through a tricky sprint. You’re comfortable zooming from studio strategy down to a single stuck task.
  • Shape what we build, not just when. Push back on scope, flag risks to the vision, and bring a delivery reality-check into reviews. Production opinions carry real weight here — but back them with plans, not just caution.
  • Work shoulder to shoulder with design, art, engineering, and leadership. Most of the job is communication — do it plainly and kindly, on calls and in writing. You’re the connective tissue that keeps every team pointed at the same target.
  • Size the work honestly. Name the risks up front, hold realistic timelines against ambition, and surface blockers before they bite. Protect both the deadline and the people hitting it.
  • Read the signals. Track velocity, burn, and morale as closely as milestones. Catch a team overloading, a project drifting, or a pipeline breaking before it shows up in the game.
  • Hold the bar on process without becoming bureaucracy. Just enough structure to ship reliably, never so much it smothers the work. Nothing ships late or messy because production dropped the ball.
  • Lead the delivery org. Grow producers, coordinate across every team, celebrate wins, and protect a can-do studio culture without ego.

What We’re Looking For

None of these are hard requirements — strong candidates tend to have most of them. If a couple are missing but you make up for it elsewhere, apply anyway.

  • Several years shipping games or software as a producer, project lead, or production manager — ideally taking things all the way to live.
  • Hands-on Roblox or games-industry experience, or comparable delivery leadership where you owned scope, timelines, and cross-team coordination.
  • A track record you can point to: things that shipped, and a clear story of how you kept them on track — be honest about what was yours.
  • An instinct for when a project is drifting, and the backbone to call it early and re-plan.
  • Comfort moving between roadmap strategy, sprint-level detail, and one-on-one people problems.
  • The ability to bring order to a big, messy, fast-moving studio without hand-holding.
  • Self-direction — you unblock yourself and everyone around you, and are happy owning outcomes.
  • Clear communication in English, written and spoken.
  • You actually play games, and you care about making them.

Nice To Have

Not needed to apply — but any of these will strengthen your case.

  • Experience running live Roblox experiences with ongoing content cadences and events.
  • A genuine read on what Roblox players want and how the community and algorithm reward steady updates.
  • Fluency with production tooling (Favro, Jira, or similar) and a knack for setting up lightweight, effective process.
  • A working sense of how design, art, and engineering actually get made — enough to call BS on unrealistic estimates.
  • Time spent building or scaling remote, self-managing teams.
  • Extra strings to your bow such as design, QA, data/analytics, or people management.
